Butcher and The Florist is the Synth-Pop duo of Kendel Lester and Jody Miller. They recently released their debut single, “Ordinary Love”, which is a dance floor ready track, screaming for endless remixes.

Last year the duo drop a collection of covers, including a fun take on the Bee Gee classic “Stayin' Alive”.

Julia Rainer crafts a clear cathartic musical vision. A power lies in the open expression of the singer-songwriter’s folk/Americana. Amid the serenity of open natural spaces, a stirring haunt develops. Perhaps, it’s that the lyricism casts vivid imagery into the atmosphere, resonating and reverberating throughout your being. Soulful vocals chronicle earnest narratives, serving as a catalyst to a captivating calm. Tonight at No Face Studios, Rainer will be joined by the duo of Hetepsa and Nu Ra, a.k.a. Camp Candle, whom dispense hypnotically sleek, airy electropop. We are proud to be able to premiere the video for the latest single, “Just Enough”, from Liska Steele. The video was produced by Low-Moon and it takes you on a fun-filled video game journey.

We recently had the opportunity to ask Liska about the video and here is what she had to say.

"I wanted the video to reflect my own journey of self acceptance. I was really set on having a portrayal of my "Ideal Self" in the video and I think Low Moon did an amazing job of putting a light-hearted twist on that. My hope is that this message of self-discovery is accessible to everyone who watches the video."

Sometimes we like to take a look at the Deli's Local Charts and see who's up and coming in the scene; today, we're highlighting Quinn Lewis, a Brisbane-born pop artist who came to Nashville four years ago. After a couple of successful singles last year, Lewis signed with Arista Records on the heels of releasing his latest single "Hanging On", a dark and pulsing dance-pop tune about a relationship on the rocks that just won't end. The video for the release features Lewis singing in a series of destitute locations, such as a run-down motel, a swamp, and a past-its-prime convertible. Xyzzy Lovelace, a.k.a. Evan Paris (of The Ordinals) recently shared a new single, “Double Polarize”. Keys gracefully guide the track, which is aided by the addition of rudimentary, lo-fi percussion. Luminous, reverberating vocals capture an emotive scene amid the electro-dance surroundings. The ebb and flow of contrasting, linked feelings is something that is difficult to explain but easy to relate.
