New Track: "JWYTK" - Taylor Kelly

Singer-songwriter Taylor Kelly crafts smooth seamless lyrical lines on her latest single, “JWYTK”. A soulful warmth radiates despite being the bearer of bad breakup news. Locked into the ever-expanding groove, one becomes invigorated by the soul-jazz hybrid. Within those apologetic tones, an optimism emerges, brought into the light by the compact, richly detailed, instrumental arrangement.

Crumb hypnotizes with new single "Nina", debut LP out on 06.14

Brooklyn-based band Crumb’s mesmeric melodies and enthralling jazz arrangements will spread across broader than ever with the release of their debut LP Jinx on June 14th. The lead single for the LP, “Nina” contains all the haunting vocals, entrancing guitar licks, and poised beats that have made this band’s last two EPs—2016’s Crumb and 2017’s Locket—a buzz story in New York City and beyond. Lila Ramani (guitar, vocals) showcases her casual confidence in her vocal delivery, keeping pace with the instrumentation of the rest of the band, concocting an imaginative sound that find its roots in bedroom pop and psychedelia. The music video for the song stars David Patrick Kelly of the acclaimed TV show Twin Peaks and is as captivating as the song itself. Don’t believe us? See it for yourself here. - Rene Cobar

Johari Noelle “Show Me"

Johari Noelle has released her debut single, “Show Me”, from her forthcoming debut EP, “Things You Can’t Say Out Loud”, which will be released on May 31st. This is soulful R&B at its finest.

You can help Johari celebrate the release of the new album on June 5th at The Promontory.

Soul'd Out's Tenth Anniversary

The Soul’d Out Music Festival is coming up again this April, and this year will mark its tenth anniversary. We wanted to make sure you’re properly prepared. Starting on April 16th and ending on April 21st, each day is packed full with artists performing all over town. There will be close to 50 artists performing this year, and each act is incredibly talented. Here at the Deli, we want to give a shout out to some of those artists. The legendary Buddy Guy will be playing at The Roseland on April 17th. DJ/MC team Eric B & Rakim will be taking the stage at the Roseland on the 18th. Coming all the way from Brooklyn, rapper Leikeli47 will be playing the Wonder Ballroom on April 18th.

If you want to find out more information, check out the Soul’d Out website. The full schedule is currently available.
