Sondre Lerche's "I Could Not Love You Enough" is a sonic circus to enjoy

Norwegian-born Sondre Lerche provides yet another bouncy, melancholic track to chant to: “I Could Not Love You Enough” is short, and it is sweet, and it will have you feeling giddy and sad all at once. The marching drums, explosive distortion, and swelling atmospheres all create a sonic circus where Lerche’s confessional refrains trapeze through and evoke emotion. The new single announces a deluxe edition of Lerche’s latest album titled Patience, out October 23rd. The music of “I Could Not Love You Enough” is soothing enough for contemplation but active enough for the busiest of mornings or evenings; stream this new single for a taste of the sonic spectacle in store. - René Cobar, photo by Jen Steele

ARO debuts perilous single "House Of Lies," plays Hotel Cafe 09.26

Aimée Osbourne’s project ARO has released a new single titled “House Of Lies” that tip-toes on the sinister and reveals a soundscape that is a pop, industrial blend so edgy. Osbourne’s vocals crawl to the beat of the track and provide a soft touch to the otherwise sharp clanking sounds that accompany an atmosphere of peril; a dangerous sort of love is evoked through the music. “House Of Lies” is part of Osbourne’s upcoming record Vacare Adamare, set for release October 30th. Aimée Osbourne will be streaming live from Hotel Cafe on September 26th. Stream this synth-heavy track below for a dangerous type of song. - René Cobar

LANY belongs in new single "Cowboy in LA"

LANY is finding time for recognition of itself and the environment that surrounds the group in a new chill single titled “Cowboy in LA.” The trio deploys slick electric guitar flourishes and key embellishments beside cool vocals that ride a trot of a beat all the way to a good feeling. The imagery the song paints is vivid: sunny days and good times, smoggy afternoons, and neon-tinted evenings, you take the good with the bad. The journey for LANY has been a long one, but it continues with this release and the group’s upcoming album, mama’s boy, out October 2nd. Stream “Cowboy in LA” and let your mind wander off towards a smoky sun above a known cityscape. - René Cobar

Emily Edrosa is hanging in there in new single "Wade Thru"

Emily Edrosa is getting through a seemingly endless year via the throbbing beat and sharpened guitar riffs of her new indie rock single “Wade Thru.” Channeling the very best of Los Angeles’ ever-present garage rock scene, Edrosa vents feelings of longing for someone or something familiar. “Wade Thru” may be short, but its point is not dull: we all feel like we are getting through, not gracefully, but with lots of resilience, and the single embraces that. “Wade Thru” announces the rocker’s upcoming album Another Wave Is Coming Out out November 20th. Stream “Wade Thru” below and keep on moving forward. - René Cobar
